The World Travel Market, or otherwise known as the fondly abbreviated WTM, took place this week. Traders, tourism boards and travel bloggers all flocked to the Excel to talk all things travel. speed networking event, on stand demonstrations and lots of fantastic talks during the three days. As spontaneous trips go this was one of the greatest. We’ve spent four days in Scotland and on Monday spent the whole day exploring the stunning Scottish countryside. We drove from Loch Lomond to Glenfinnan via Fort William and back, with plenty of stops in between
On Saturday I was lucky enough to spend some time on Eel Pie Island, which is located along the River Thames in Twickenham. I was invited along to the event by Sasha at Carl Goes, who was promoting her new book Carl Goes London Islands at the Eel Pie Island studio open day.
