The World Travel Market, or otherwise known as the fondly abbreviated WTM, took place this week. Traders, tourism boards and travel bloggers all flocked to the Excel to talk all things travel. speed networking event, on stand demonstrations and lots of fantastic talks during the three days. I only attended for two days but got to see and do so much. So here’s a few of the things I got up to. Plus a few tips of my own

Photo frames. Travel prints. Posters. You name it, I’ve been looking for it. Since moving to our new flat in August we’ve been looking for artwork to hang on the walls and pictures to print. And it’s been a tough decision! It wasn’t until I teamed up with Tesco Photo

Seminyak was our second and final stop during our trip in Bali. We’d eaten a whole heap of delicious foods in Ubud and were looking forward to seeing what Seminyak had to offer. And it did not disappoint. Seminyak and the surrounding areas of Kuta and Canggu, offered a great selection of vegetarian restaurants for us to try. Here are our favourites

It wasn’t until I teamed up with Truprint on their #WhereverLifeTakesYou campaign that the idea of doing a personal update on the blog. 2018 has been a big year for me and my boyfriend Dan. entered my mind. It’s been a whirlwind of a year and even at the beginning of it, we didn’t know where life was going to take us. And we still don’t

  • If you’re ever in Taunton be sure to take a walk along the Bridgewater & Taunton Canal. Lovely countryside views, wildlife and heaps of blackberries just dying to be picked and turned into crumbles.
  • Hall Place in Bexley is part of the #openhouselondon programme for this year. I visited last summer and it was such a nice place to visit. The gardens are beautiful and it makes for a great picnic spot too!
  • It’s @openhouselondon this weekend. Where are you going to explore? This was taken way back in 2017 when me and Dan visited City Hall in London. What a stunning building and a fantastic weekend if you’re looking to explore London in a way that you’re not always able.
  • I’ve only been an English Heritage member for a month but I already LOVE it! This is just some of the things they send you when you sign up, as well as giving you access to 400 sites around the England, free parking and other discounts too. All this for just £8.75 per month (for both me and Dan). Check out my latest blog post for more information on why you should become a member.
  • Happy Saturday! I’ve spent my day in Manchester attending my first #BlogAtTheBeach event. There were great talks, free rum punch, delicious food and a room full of travel bloggers I got to meet and catch up with! And hey, I even won at beer pong!
  • Touristing in Windsor this summer. We opted to not have a tour of Windsor Castle and instead walked the 2.65 miles down the Long Walk, through the Windsor Great Park to the Cooper Horse. The views of Windsor and the ancient trees lining the path were beautiful. The only downside? Walking the 2.65 miles back.
  • On the day this photo was taken @danm121 and I walked 14 miles. We wandered around Little Italy, Boston Harbour, Haymarket, Boston Common and Harvard Square. There’s a lot to see in the city and it’s so easy to navigate on foot. The best way to see a city in my opinion.
  • I’m back from Boston and feeling SUPER jet lagged. It was a productive work trip and I got to spend some time exploring at the weekend too! The Rose Fitzgerald Kennedy Greenway is a lovely spot in the city. And the perfect location for browsing the street food and craft stalls in the sun.
  • Doing what we do best when in the USA... eating pizza! Stumbled across Monica’s Mercato Pizza whilst wandering the streets of Boston’s Little Italy! 🇮🇹 🍕 🇺🇸
  • Lovely day spent catching up with @cat_turley in Richmond. There was sun, free shots and a huge rubber duck! 🦆
  • (GIFTED) Birthday boating 🥳 🛥 💦 I was lucky enough to spend my birthday boating along the river around Kingston and Hampton Court. Such beautiful views, company and weather. Thank you to @goboatldn for the experience.
  • (GIFTED) Discovering the street art in Brooklyn’s Bushwick was one of my favourite parts of our New York trip. I got to learn more about the area and @thebushwickcollective whilst seeing pieces from both new and familiar artists. Thanks again @icelollyholiday for the experience and for @danm121 for snapping this photo!
